Chipotle is driven by innovation. In 2022 when the great crypto boom of 2020 had begun to recede Chipotle stepped in to activate one of the most common memes on the internet at the time. In other words, “Buy the Dip.” Creating a digital experience where users could try their chances at winning free crypto in Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Avalanche, or Dogecoin.
The campaign was a massive success. The extremely devout crypto Twitter community loved the cheeky play on the demise of their boom, and the broader consumer base loved the opportunity to win big with cryptocurrency that might give them a chance to strike it rich in the future.
